Race Information

The 2012 Ironman 70.3 Hawai`i will take place on the Kohala Coast on the west side of the Island of Hawai`i. The Fairmont Orchid Hawai`i will host the event.

The race date is Saturday, June 2, 2012.

All Athletes are required to show identification upon registration.

28 qualifying slots to the Ironman World Championship.

44 Hawai`i State Lottery Slots to the Ironman World Championship will be available to athletes meeting the residency requirements.

30 qualifying slots to the Ironman World Championship 70.3

If you earn a slot to compete at the Ironman World Championship or the Ironman World Championship 70.3 you must claim your slot at the slot distribution table in the post-race area on Saturday between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. All unclaimed slots by 4:30 p.m. go to roll-down.  You will be required at that time to show photo I.D. and pay your entry fee – no exceptions. The Awards Presentation will take place following the race, starting at 4:00 p.m.

If you earn and accept a slot to compete at the Ironman World Championship and later decide you must drop you must contact the Race Office, in writing, within 30 days to let them know you will not be accepting the slot. This slot can be rolled down only during this 30-day period. Slots are NOT transferable.
